Admissions Policy : 2022 - 23

The admission to Ramaiah College of Law follows a transparent, methodical and merit-based process which has enabled us in achieving excellence in legal education.

  • There are two steps for any candidate who applies for the Five-Year Integrated B.A., LL. B/ B.Com., LL. B/BBA, LL. B Course, namely the filling up of two different forms, the "Application Form for Registration" and the "Application Form for Admission".
  • The registration to various programmes offered by Ramaiah College of Law will commence from April, 2022. Candidates can obtain the "Application Form for Registration from the College website i.e., www.msrcl.org.
  • Only candidates who have submitted the "Application Form for Registration" will be eligible to participate in the admission process.
  • The admission process shall be as follows:
    1. An Admission Process Review Committee (APRC) comprising of the Director (Academics), the Principal, Faculty Co-ordinators and the administrative office in charge will supervise and approve the admission through a selection process.
    2. A candidate belonging to the General Category with minimum 45% marks and above (in case of SC/ST 40%) at the 10+2 level, will be eligible for the selection process.
    3. Upon receipt of the duly filled Application Form for Registration, the candidate has to go through a telephonic interview with the Director (Academics), Ramaiah College of Law.
    4. After the interview you are required to intimate the Office by email at info@msrcl.org. If you qualify the interview you will be required to fill the application Form for Admission which will be mailed to you from the Administrative Office.
    5. The candidate has to then submit the College Fee for the First year along with the Admission Form within one week from the date of Interview. The fee will be collected through Demand Draft / NEFT/RTGS.
    6. A fee concession of 05% will be given for SC/ST students for first year only.
  • After securing admission, students who wish to withdraw their candidature shall be given reimbursement in the following manner after a processing fee of Rs. 5,000/- is deducted.
    1. Full refund of the fees for withdrawal before 15/07/2022.
    2. 90% of the total annual fee will be refunded for withdrawal between 16/07/2022 and 23/07/2022.
    3. 80% of the total annual fee will be refunded for withdrawal between 24/07/2022 and 30/07/2022.
    4. 70% of the total annual fee will be refunded for withdrawal between 31/07/2022 and 06/08/2022.
    5. 60% of the total annual fee will be refunded for withdrawal between 07/08/2022 and 13/08/2022.
    6. 50% of the total annual fee will be refunded for withdrawal between 14/08/2022 and the date of commencement of Classes.
    7. There will be no refund for withdrawals after commencement of Classes.
    8. Further, students who opt to discontinue the Course after commencement of classes are under an obligation to pay the full Course Fee subject to the policies of the College.
  • The decision of the Management regarding admission of a candidate shall be final.
  • Please note that the admission to the college is only provisional and subject to the Candidate fulfilling all eligibility criteria and other conditions that may be prescribed by the admission notification of the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi.

Instruction for filling the application form.

  • Name of the Candidate should be filled in BLOCK LETTERS.
  • The Name should be as in "10+2/PUC qualifying Examination marks card.
  • Address for communication including the postal code should be mentioned completely.
  • The details of the payment of Registration fee of Rs. 1,200/-should be mentioned in the application form.
  • Transaction details should be sent to accounts@msrcl.org
  • The duly filled Application Form and necessary scanned copies of the documents should be sent to info@msrcl.org
  • The "Application form for Registration" is only for Registration. The final admission to the Course shall be made only after completion of the "Admission Process".

  • It is not necessary to send the HARD COPY of the Registration Form

  • NoteLunch Break: 01:00 pm - 01:45 pm. On Saturday's, the Office will be open between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm only.
