In the year 1995, the Founder
Chairman wanted to establish a centre of excellence
in the area of legal studies and commenced working
with the idea of starting a Law College to offer
a 5-year integrated programme leading to B.A L.,
LL.B Degree of the Bangalore University. A request
was made to the Bar Council to accord approval for
the venture and approval was granted for the same
and M. S. Ramaiah College of Law came to be established
on 02-11-1995. Ever since its inception, the college
has committed itself to the task of imparting quality
legal education. The academic leadership of the
college has been held by competent persons. The
college has succeeded in placing itself in a central
position by offering to the nation a stream of competent
and value based professionals in the area of legal
learning and this is evident from the fact that
some of its graduates have been working in distinguished
law firms and also in the corporate sector.
Objectives
M.S. Ramaiah College of Law stands for
the objectives of:
Helping the youth towards enriching their knowledge
fostering in them a love towards learning, right
attitudes and interests, and imbibing essential
and up to date knowledge about legal rights
and obligations.
